Trenchless Sewer Repair

Before-and-after comparison of a dirty, rust-covered pipe interior and a clean pipe after cleaning.

When a sewer line cracks, breaks, or roots badly damage it, it needs repair. Traditionally, that meant digging up your yard or driveway. Trenchless sewer repair fixes it through one or two small access holes instead.

Depending on the damage, we either install a new liner inside the old pipe or pull a brand-new pipe through it. Expect a strong, long-lasting sewer line, finished faster, with your yard and driveway left intact.

Signs Your Sewer Line Needs Repair

  • Backups that keep coming back, even after cleaning.

  • Soggy or sunken spots in your yard over the sewer line.

  • Patches of unusually green grass where sewage may be leaking.

  • Sewer odors outside your home or in the basement.

  • Roots that return soon after the line is cleaned.

  • A camera inspection that shows cracks, breaks, or separated joints.

Two Ways We Repair Without Digging

  • Pipe Lining
We insert a flexible, resin-coated liner into your existing pipe. Once it’s in place, the resin hardens into a smooth, seamless new pipe inside the old one. It seals cracks and joints, and roots can’t get through.

  • Pipe Bursting
For pipes that are too damaged to line, we pull a new pipe through the old one. As it moves through, it breaks the old pipe apart and takes its place. You end up with a new sewer line in the same path, without a trench.

How It Works

  1. Camera inspection. We find the damage and confirm that trenchless repair is the right fit for your line. We handle any needed permits.

  2. Clean the line. We clear out roots and buildup so the new liner or pipe goes in properly.

  3. Small access points. We dig one or two small holes instead of a trench across your yard.

  4. Repair the line. We install the liner or pull the new pipe through.

  5. Final camera check. We inspect the finished line so you can see the result.

Trenchless vs. Traditional Digging

With Trenchless Repair:

  • ✓ Your yard and driveway stay intact.

  • ✓ Your landscaping is preserved.

  • ✓ The job is usually finished faster.

  • ✓ Cleanup is minimal.

With Traditional Digging:

  • ✗ A trench is dug along the entire line.

  • ✗ Landscaping is often lost.

  • ✗ The job takes longer, plus yard restoration.

  • ✗ Cleanup is major.

Is Trenchless Right for Every Line?

Most sewer lines are good candidates, but not all. A fully collapsed pipe or a severe sag may still need a traditional repair at that spot. Our camera inspection shows us which approach your line needs, and we’ll explain why before we start any work.
